Students understands more advanced social conversations, but cannot understand English speeches, reports and programs. E.g. Student is able to understand topics about achromatopsia. But s/he cannot understand the speech "I Listen To Color" of Neil Harbisson - an artist suffered with achromatopsia. For example, "So I decided to continue extending my color senses, and I added infrared and I added ultraviolet to the color-to-sound scale, so now I can hear colors that the human eye cannot perceive".
能接待外籍人士，但無法與外籍人士洽談業務。 實例：能接待外籍人士，但因不熟悉業務洽談用語The purpose of my coming here is...（我此行的目的為...）而無法與外籍人士洽談業務。
The student is able to receive foreigners to talk about work or business in English, but s/he is still not able to talk about work or business in English. E.g. The student is able to receive foreigners, but s/he is still not familiar with business English so s/he is not able to have a business discussion like "The purpose of my coming here is ..."
能了解及欣賞工作相關之簡易文章，包括工作須知、公告、操作手冊等。但尚無法能分析及判斷文章內容，了解敘述者的觀點及態度，也無法閱讀較深入之書信及說明書等。 實例：能了解GALAXY S3的簡易操作手冊，但由於缺乏文章分析能力，閱讀題材主題延伸及詞彙量不足，而無法閱讀GALAXY S3的產品保固說明或配件說明等。
Student is able to read and understand English writings in different formats under various topics. But s/he cannot read an English article and understand the viewpoints the author wants to express or s/he does not understand operation manuals. E.g. The student understands the Galaxy S3 operation manual, but s/he cannot understand the statement on guarantee card or cell phone accessories introduction.
